“Ahoy here” me Mateys! Buccaneer Captain Basil needs a crew of land-lubbers to become pirates on his scale replica sailing ship – The Sea Wolf – which was one of Sir Frances Drake’s galleon raiders. It was wrecked in the mouth of the Kowie River while loading bartered Khoi cattle. Enter through the cave of Skull Rock to have some swashbuckling fun, from learning the ropes by using the climbing barnacles and clambering over the shipwreck obstacle course. Basil Mills is Master Gunner of the Black Powder cannon, and a chief Battle Re-enactor competent in 17th and 18th century weaponry and tactics. He is also a blacksmith; animal wrangler of horses, oxen and snakes; senior museum educator; artist; sculptor and international storyteller.
