Sunshine Beeswax Wraps are made with colourful patterned cotton fabric, locally and sustainable harvested beeswax, natural tree resin and pure jojoba oil. The wraps are in several sizes individually or in a handy starter pack of 4. Sunshine Beeswax Wraps are handcrafted on the Sunshine Coast of South Africa in the friendly town of Port Alfred. Beeswax wraps can used to wrap up fruit, veggies, bread, leftovers, cover a bowl of salad, school lunches. One could even use them for camping, picnicking and hiking. They keep cheese amazingly fresh. The warmth of your hands softens the wrap and as it cools it creates a seal to keep in the freshness. Beeswax has natural preservative qualities. These wraps are washable: very gently clean with cold water (a dot of dishwashing liquid if necessary); the wraps are reusable and should last about 9 months when used several times a week and well cared for; and are compostable and biodegradable. Sunshine Beeswax Wraps cannot be used in the oven or microwave.
