Dani started her company Oh Dear Creations in July 2018 as a self-thought crafter. She created her pieces from using memory wire making bracelets and earrings. A wire craft workshop held by the Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture became an eye opener as she ventured into creating neck pieces from Telkom wire and Amatantyisi. She finds the natural elements of Amatantyisi to have a traditional feel in which she relates to yet mystical.
