Blacki is one of twenty women who started the Sophumelela Cooperation in the year 2005, locals who turned their passion into a business to feel their families. It had been a rocky road to success only three women were left to run the business including Blacki, who is now all by herself after the passing of two other members. Blacki’s future plans is to assist in teaching and up skill youth interested in sewing and bead work.
