Dragon Gems is a small business based in the foot hills of the Outeniqua Mountains, designing and handmaking all its products using semi-precious stones, brass and silver, sourced locally and from various corners of the globe.
Dragon Gems is inspired by ancient crafts, from hand-weaving macrames to ceramic clays, stone engraving and lost wax silver casting.
As sisters in creative spirit they have used their skills and ideas to support themselves and those they are able to empower around them.
Their journey began 18 years ago on the street alley near Fiddlers Green. Originally selling dragons wrapped around gems, the stall has evolved to encompass many more stones and crystal designs.
